CVSS v3.1 |
| Pillow is a Python imaging library. From 5.1.0 until 13.0.0, Pillow can exhaust resources while parsing an existing PDF during an append operation. PdfParser follows page-tree child references without cycle or duplication tracking and follows previous-trailer chains with only an exact repeated-offset guard, so deep or cyclic page trees and long chains of unique trailer offsets can exhaust the Python stack. Repeated non-cyclic /Kids references can also cause super-linear CPU and memory use. An attacker can supply such a PDF to an application that calls Image.save with PDF append enabled. This can raise an uncaught RecursionError or consume excessive CPU and memory before output is written, causing denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 13.0.0. |
| A security flaw has been discovered in ggml-org llama.cpp up to 0.7.0. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown functionality of the file src/llama-sampler.cpp of the component Mirostat Sampler. The manipulation results in reachable assertion. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The project was informed of the problem early through a pull request but has not reacted yet. |
| Joomla Extension - svenbluege.de - Reflected XSS and open redirect in Event Gallery extension < 6.5.0 - The “return” parameter is base64-decoded and written to the “Back” link without being validated. |
| Pillow is a Python imaging library. From 11.0.0 until 13.0.0, Exif.load() in src/PIL/Image.py repeatedly slices the remaining EXIF data while it begins with the six-byte Exif header. src/PIL/PngImagePlugin.py accepts an uncapped PNG eXIf chunk, so a file filled with repeated headers causes a new shrinking copy on every iteration and quadratic CPU work. The condition is reachable through Image.getexif(), Image._getexif(), and ImageOps.exif_transpose(), including common photo-upload rotation workflows. This issue is fixed in version 13.0.0. |

| GitLab has remediated an issue in GitLab CE/EE affecting all versions from 15.10 before 19.3.6, 19.4 before 19.4.3, and 19.5 before 19.5.1 that, could have allowed an authenticated to read milestone metadata, including titles, descriptions, and full project paths, from arbitrary private projects across the instance without any project membership, due to missing authorization checks on a user-supplied project filter parameter in the group milestones API. |
| REDAXO before 5.21.4 contains a broken access control vulnerability that allows authenticated editors to modify slices in unauthorized categories by pairing a permitted article with a foreign slice id. Attackers can abuse content/edit delete and edit functions or the content_slice_status and content_move_slice APIs to delete, toggle, move, or overwrite other editors' slices. |
| Authorization bypass through User-Controlled key vulnerability in Netiket Information Technologies EdoWEB allows Accessing Functionality Not Properly Constrained by ACLs.
This issue affects EdoWEB: before 780-g7. |
| MrDoc through 1.1.1 contains a broken access control vulnerability in the manage_doc_share type 3 branch that allows authenticated users to modify other users' document share settings because updates lack an ownership check. Attackers can compute predictable share tokens from the MD5 of document ID and username to re-enable disabled shares or remove access codes, exposing private documents. |
| rssant 1.9.0 through 1.9.1 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to read stories from unpublished feeds through the anonymous publish.story_get endpoint. Because UnionStory.get_by_feed_offset ignores the only_publish flag, attackers can enumerate feed IDs and offsets to retrieve private feed stories. |
| Admidio before 5.0.17 contains an improper access control vulnerability that allows authenticated members to register event guests by submitting the additional_guests field when guests are disallowed. Attackers can set additional_guests to the remaining seat count in modules/events/events_function.php to exhaust event capacity and block other members from registering. |
| Umbraco CMS before 17.7.2 and 18.2.2 contains an authentication bypass vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to register attacker-controlled OAuth redirect URIs by poisoning the Host header. Attackers send signed-in users authorization links using response_mode=form_post to capture codes, then redeem them via HTTP Basic client credentials to hijack back-office sessions and execute code through Razor templates. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ip6: vti: Use ip6_tnl.net in vti6_siocdevprivate().
After patch 1/2 in this series, vti6_update() unlinks and relinks
the tunnel through t->net. vti6_siocdevprivate() still uses
dev_net(dev) for the collision lookup. For a tunnel moved through
IFLA_NET_NS_FD, dev_net(dev) is the new netns, not t->net.
SIOCCHGTUNNEL on a migrated tunnel then runs:
net = dev_net(dev) /* migrated netns */
t = vti6_locate(net, &p1, false) /* misses target in t->net */
...
t = netdev_priv(dev)
vti6_update(t, &p1, false) /* mutates t->net's hash */
A caller in the migrated netns picks params that match a tunnel
in the creation netns. The lookup in dev_net(dev) finds nothing.
vti6_update() prepends the migrated tunnel at the head of the
creation netns hash bucket for those params. Later lookups in
the creation netns resolve to the migrated device. xfrm receive
delivers the matched packets through a device the caller controls.
Reachable from an unprivileged user namespace (unshare --user
--map-root-user --net). Cross tenant scope on container hosts.
Switch the SIOCCHGTUNNEL path on a non fallback device to use
t->net for the lookup. The lookup now matches the netns
vti6_update() operates on.
Also add ns_capable(self->net->user_ns, CAP_NET_ADMIN) before
the lookup. The check at the top of the case is against
dev_net(dev)->user_ns, which after migration is the attacker's
netns. A caller there can pick params absent from self->net,
the lookup returns NULL, t becomes self, and vti6_update()
inserts the device into the creation netns hash. The new check
requires CAP_NET_ADMIN in the creation netns user_ns too.
SIOCADDTUNNEL and SIOCCHGTUNNEL on the fallback device keep
dev_net(dev), which equals init_net there. |
| @fastify/session is a session plugin for Fastify. In all releases before 11.1.6, with the default rolling session behavior, a request that restored a session before a logout could save its own copy after another request had completed the session destroy call, recreating the destroyed session identifier with its authenticated data. An attacker who already holds a victim's valid signed session cookie and keeps a request in flight across the logout can replay that cookie to restore the session after it was meant to be revoked, without any cookie theft or signature forgery. The issue is fixed in @fastify/session 11.1.6, which adds a per session generation marker and a conditional store write so a session restored before a logout or regeneration cannot recreate or overwrite the current entry, and users should upgrade to 11.1.6 or later. There is no workaround, and custom session stores must implement the new conditional write. |
| A improper locking vulnerability in Fortinet FortiOS 8.0.0, FortiOS 7.6.4 through 7.6.6 may allow an unauthenticated attacker with network access to the device to cause a denial of service of the HTTPS management interface via crafted HTTP requests. |
| Vulnerability in the Oracle BI Publisher product of Oracle Analytics (component: BI Platform Security). Supported versions that are affected are 8.2.0.0.0, 12.2.1.4.0 and 26.01.0.0.0. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle BI Publisher. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in takeover of Oracle BI Publisher. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 8.8 (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H). |
| Semantic MediaWiki 3.0.0 before 7.3.1 contains an uncontrolled recursion vulnerability in LegacyParser::getSubqueryDescription() that processes nested query tokens before depth limits apply. Unauthenticated attackers can submit deeply nested query elements to the action=ask API to consume substantial CPU and memory, tying up request workers. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ntfs3: handle set_blocksize failures
ntfs3 uses buffer_heads, which don't handle block size > PAGE_SIZE well.
Without this, mounting we will hit the
BUG_ON(offset >= folio_size(folio));
in folio_set_bh on the first __bread_gfp call. |
