CVSS v3.1 |
| A hard-coded
cryptographic key vulnerability exists in the user-configuration backup
mechanism of TP-Link RE305 V3 and Archer C7 V5. A fixed AES-128 key and
initialization vector are embedded in the firmware configuration-management
component. An attacker who obtains an affected configuration backup file may
extract the cryptographic material from the firmware and use it to decrypt the
backup.
Successful
exploitation may disclose sensitive configuration information contained in a
backup file, including administrator passwords and Wi-Fi credentials. |
| A hard-coded
cryptographic key vulnerability exists in TP-Link RE305 V3 and Archer C7 V5.
The same RSA-1024 private key is stored within firmware configuration files and
reused across devices. An attacker who obtains the private key and captures an
HTTP Web UI login session may use the key to decrypt the administrator
password.
Successful
exploitation may disclose the administrator password captured from an HTTP
login session and compromise session confidentiality. |
| nest-admin before 1.0.1 contains an authentication bypass vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to forge administrator tokens by using a hardcoded JWT_SECRET committed in .env.production. Attackers can sign tokens with the known secret that JwtStrategy and RbacGuard trust, impersonating any user ID or claiming the admin role for full administrative access. |
| TTLock Android application before v9.8.260718 and associated smart-lock firmware contain a hardcoded static AES key vulnerability that allows an attacker within Bluetooth range to decrypt the per-pairing session key transmitted during BLE pairing. Attackers can observe the pairing exchange, recover the persistent session key using the embedded defaultKey, and forge authenticated BLE requests to unlock the device, add fingerprints or access codes, and perform administrative actions without authentication or user interaction. |
| Kener 3.0.0 before 4.1.10 contains an authentication bypass vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to forge session tokens by using the hardcoded DUMMY_SECRET fallback key. When KENER_SECRET_KEY is empty or unset, attackers knowing an administrator email can sign a kener-user cookie to access /manage/api with full administrative privileges or forge password-reset tokens. |
| A hard-coded cryptographic key vulnerability exists in the OnCell G3150A-LTE Series. Under certain conditions, an unauthenticated remote attacker could obtain shared cryptographic key material and use it to impersonate affected devices that have not regenerated their cryptographic keys, potentially compromising the confidentiality and integrity of management communications. |
| vlife through 2.0.1 contains an authentication bypass vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to forge JWTs using the hardcoded HS256 signing key in TokenUtil. Attackers can sign a token with superUser=true and arbitrary groupIds claims to gain super administrator access to any URL on vlife instances. |
| ZKEACMS through 4.4 contains an authentication bypass vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to forge REST API JWT bearer tokens using a hard-coded HMAC-SHA256 signing key in JwtBearerDefaults.cs. Attackers can sign a token with the Name claim set to 'admin' to call ApiAuthorize endpoints, modifying articles and products and reading form submissions. |
| OpenBMB StaffDeck through 0.5.6 contains an authentication bypass vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to forge administrator session tokens using the hard-coded default app_secret. Attackers can sign an HMAC-SHA256 token for the seeded 'admin' user in 'tenant_demo' to gain full tenant administration, including stored model and channel credentials. |
| data-platform-open through commit efeacd3 uses a hardcoded, publicly known default AES key in AesPasswordEncAndDecServiceImpl, allowing authenticated attackers to decrypt stored datasource passwords. Attackers can obtain ciphertext passwords from the datasource detail API, for example via cross-workspace IDOR, and decrypt them offline to recover plaintext database credentials. |
| A security vulnerability has been detected in OctoPrint 1.0.0/1.1.0. Affected is an unknown function of the component Flask Secret Key Handler. Such manipulation leads to use of hard-coded cryptographic key
. The attack may be performed from remote. Upgrading to version 1.11.1 is able to address this issue. The name of the patch is b4699825d6ab92d5451e5b1e3a06dfb81f86e777. The affected component should be upgraded. |
| Use of hard-coded cryptographic key vulnerability in Johnson Controls Kantech Entrapass allows Padding Oracle Crypto Attack.
This issue affects Kantech Entrapass: before 9.20. |
| This vulnerability exists in the CreditNirvana Agentic AI Call Centre application due to hardcoded static API Key in the client side JavaScript bundle. An unauthenticated remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by downloading client side JavaScript files and extracting API key, which could lead to make arbitrary API calls to retrieve call transcripts and recordings through the application API of the targeted system. |
| IBM Guardium Data Protection 12.1, and 12.2 could allow a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information due to use of a hard-coded cryptographic key. |
| In Splunk Enterprise versions below 10.4.4 and 10.2.8, a user who does not hold the "admin" or "power" Splunk roles could derive the PostgreSQL sidecar database superuser password and run arbitrary operating system commands as the user account running Splunk Enterprise on search head cluster members.
The vulnerability is possible because the PostgreSQL sidecar service derives a privileged database password from the search head cluster identifier that appears in search job logs.

| A hardcoded cryptographic key management vulnerability exists in Archer C6 due to the use of a universal cryptographic key shared across devices. An attacker who obtains an encrypted configuration file or other protected credential data can recover plaintext credentials.
Successful exploitation may allow unauthorized disclosure of sensitive information, including administrative credentials. |
| Huawei's openUBMC ships a default SNMPv3 USM key that uses one value for both authentication and privacy. An attacker who holds the key (recoverable from the open-source build) can authenticate SNMPv3 to, and decrypt SNMPv3 traffic from, any unit that still carries the shipped key. The build customization `manifest/build/customization/default_password.lua` sets `AuthenticationKey == EncryptionKey == 7df2f29369e3ac3245b2c9d46b67a0ecd055197e41808a34ef325db2f6422581` for the iBMC product build, and the community seed `account/manufacture/default_password.lua` sets both to `7a2f5b86f20233ec7b7bef49643fbf34d86d0cbf6f1f8f5c52d4f30d4536938b`. These are shipped constants, not per-unit values, and they are not rotated by the Administrator password reset, so they survive account provisioning. This is especially dangerous considering that SNMP access is mapped to full device administration privileges, including system reset and firmware upgrades. |
| Snowy 3.6.5 contains a hard-coded HMAC key vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to forge download signatures for the /dev/file/download endpoint by using the published FILE_DOWNLOAD_SIGN_SECRET constant. Attackers can compute HMAC-SHA256 signatures of guessed file ids offline to download stored files such as avatars, editor images and attachments. |
| When the default self-signed certificate is used, an attacker could gain administrative access to the application.
The SSL certificate for the web interface is used to sign JWT access tokens that are used to validate that the user is logged in. When the default SSL certificate is used, an attacker could have the capability to sign JWT access tokens and bypass login.
An attacker could gain administrative access to the application and perform actions like configuring the service or requesting log collection. Device credentials and customer data cannot be accessed with this vulnerability. |
| Dell Command | Configure (DCC), versions prior to 5.2.3.35 contain a Use of Hard-coded Cryptographic Key vulnerability. An unauthenticated attacker with local access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Information disclosure. |
